A smooth start

Blow-dries

A shampoo, a blow-dry and a finish, from sleek and straight to curls and waves.

A blow-dry is the quickest way to feel put together for a photo, an interview or dinner out. It starts with a shampoo at the basin and ends with a finish you choose.

How it goes

  • Shampoo and condition at the basin in the suite.

  • Rough-dry, then smooth section by section with a round brush.

  • Add a flat-iron or curling-iron finish if you asked for one.

  • Set it with a light spray and check it in daylight.

Good to know

What to know before a blow-dry

  • Come as you are

No need to wash first. The shampoo is part of the visit.

  • Say how it should move

Smooth, bouncy or flat to the head: a photo says it faster than words.

  • Add it to an updo day

A blow-dry the day before makes a good base for an updo. Ask about booking both.

Questions about blow-dries

How long does a blow-dry take?

A short blow-dry takes 30 to 40 minutes, a long one 45 to 60, and curls or waves about an hour more.

Does it last into the next day?

Often, if you sleep on it gently. A silk scarf or a loose bun helps. Humidity and weather change the answer.

Can I book a blow-dry with an updo?

Yes. Book the updo and ask about adding a blow-dry the day before.
